ROSHNI MELA JAGRAON
If we look at the history of Roshni (light) Fair in Jagraon, it is said that no child was born in the palace of King Jahangir. He reached the dargah of Peer Baba Mohkamdeen and sought a vow. Then a baby boy was born in his palace.
In this happiness, he illuminated the dargah of Peer Baba Mohkamdeen and the entire city of Jagraon by lighting diyas (Lamp). Muslim places of worship include the famous Khangah and Mohkamdeen's Tomb. Here a 3-days annual fair of light is organized in the third week of February.
जगराओं में मेला रौशनी कि हिस्ट्री पर नज़र दौड़ाई जाये तो ये कहा जाता है कि किंग जहांगीर कि घर कोई संतान नहीं हुई थी. उसने यहाँ पीर बाबा मोहकमदीन की दरगाह पर पहुँच कर मन्नत मांगी. फिर उसके घर में एक बेबी boy ने जनम लिया. इस ख़ुशी में उसने पीर बाबा मोहकमदीन की दरगाह पर और पूरे जगराओं सिटी को दिए जला कर रोशन कर दिया. मुस्लिम पूजा सथलों में प्रसिद्ध खंगाह और मोहकमदीन का मकबरा शामिल है. यहाँ 3 डेज का वार्षिक मेला रौशनी का मेला feburary के तीसरे सप्ताह में आयोजित किया जाता है.

Mohkamdeen had 2 wives. One's name is Sara Bibi and the other Jeena Bibi. Sara Bibi is buried next to Mohkamdeen and Jeena Bibi is buried about half a mile away from Muhammad's market and its tomb is beautifully built. Thousands of people who attend the annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Baba Mohkamdeen, pay tribute to him which is known as the Roshni Mela (Fair of Light).
मोहकमदीन की 2 पत्निया थी. एक का नाम सारा बीबी और दूसरी का जीना बीबी. सारा बीबी को मोहकमदीन कि बगल में दफनाया गया है और जीना बीबी को मोहकमदीन कि बाजार से लगभग आधा मील दूर दफनाया गया और इसका मकबरा खूबसूरती से बनाया गया है. हजरत बाबा मोहकमदीन कि सालाना उर्स मुबारक में शामिल होने वाले हज़ारों लोग उसके प्रति सामान वयक्त करते हैं जिसे रौशनी कि मेले कि नाम से जाना जाता है.
